Introduction
My name is Jax Inns and I’ve worked in filmmaking in several roles, specifically in screenwriting, cinematography, editing and lighting design. I’ve had a passion for filmmaking for a large portion of my life and this has encouraged me to explore all areas of filmmaking and expand my skill set.
Experience
I have studied Film and TV Production BTEC and Film Studies A-Level at UTC@MediaCityUK, and studied Media Studies at a GCSE level. In addition I worked at the Aldridge Film Festival as a crew member guiding guests and VIPs to screenings and talks, and aiding in food handling.
Awards/Nominations
My short documentary ‘Blue, Pink and White (The UK Transgender Experience)’ was nominated for Best LGBTQ+ Picture, and my ‘Can’t Fight The Moonlight’ unofficial music video was nominated for Best Music Video, both at Aldridge Film festival in 2023.
